Did you know?
Fedoras were actually first worn and made popular by women before men adopted the well-known head piece all the way back in 1882. Famous actress, Sarah Bernhardt, wore the hat for a title role in the production “Fédora,” by French Author, Victorien Sardou. The Fedora also became a popular fashion for women’s rights activists. It wasn’t until 1924, when Prince Edward of Britain started to wear them that other men would replace the top hats and other popular hats of that time. So, Sorry to say Humphrey Bogart, you are not the Fedora OG!
